Computers appear to us in so many ways that many times, we fail to see them as they actually are. For better or worse, computers have gained access to every aspect of our society. They do more than just simply compute. The technological revolution has taken full swing in providing a lot for everyone this day and age.Along with computers comes the popular online system called the Internet. On the Net, one must search for, rather than simply look at, information. This forces one to develop thinking and investigative skills, they must become critics of which web sites are good and what is real and what is fictitious.

Computer addiction can have a variety of negative effects on a person. The most immediate are social. The user withdraws from friends and family as he spends more and more time on the computer. Relationships begin to wither as the user stops attending social gatherings, skips meetings with friends and avoids family members to get more computer time. Even when they do interact with their friends, users may become irritable when away from the computer, causing further social harm.Eventually, the consequences of computer addiction will ripple through the user's life. Late-night use or use at work will affect job performance, which could lead to job loss. As the addiction takes its toll on family members.

The Effect of Computers in Society
Computers have done a lot to improve society,aided and abetted by humans. Though they have done a lot, it cannot be helped that there are rapid changes in society and its actions. People who have been so content with their old-fashioned life were shocked to see the alarming change of oh so many things, from their habits to their sleeping pattern. As the times grew, the use and knowledge of the modern life spread out to the world. Sure it helped improve the world but look at the nasty side-effects! Computer addiction spread out to teenagers like a disease while innocent young children see or hear things considered unsuitable for their age.
I have listed few of the pros and cons of computers and gadgetry, but it is up to you if will do what you will or must do. But remember, one day, because of the tinkering of man with gadgetry, something may unexpectedly happen. Our lives are not depended on the modernization of the world, but from the words that drip out of our Heavenly Father's mouth.

Computers today are very useful; it’s really an answer to our daily needs of information. In all, this is really a multimedia; it is an almost perfect creation of human kind. From a simple calculator, it turns answers to every one’s question and needs. If you want to talk to your friend, you go chatting or maybe you can interact with other people we don’t know yet. . If you missed your favourite TV show just go to youtube and you can find it there, almost anything you want to see. If you’re a student and it’s very hard for you to go to a library then go searching. Just type what you want or what you’re looking for. Computers and internets are very helpful to us coz it connects people all over the world. We understand the worlds were living
in a computer science before. And it helps me a lot to understand computer. Knowing its capability is very impressive. But as I notice so far, Computers and internet are somehow change our lifestyle so much. It opens the minds of other culture that this world we are living is an open minded and liberated. After school, I play with my friends. Games are really helpful for physical health. But as I see younger kids and teens now, what their doing is they just sit for almost 8 hours facing their computers. Computers also affect the studies of students. Instead of going to libraries or do some brainstorms. What they do is they almost depend on internet. By just copy and paste. You have the result for your research. Do they understand their subject? I don’t think so.
Here in our country
As I look forward, in a computer world we are living, we must go with the flow. Don’t try to block their way. It depends on us how we deal with the computers. And at the end I hope computers can help us grow, develop and make us advanced.

They allow for complex mathematics which no one human could calculate in a life time. They allow worldwide communication almost instantly.
They allow the possibility of world destruction in a matter of minutes. They allow satellites for weather tracking and spying. They control traffic patterns on land and in the air as well as the waterways. They allow automation of factories. They allow an increase of knowledge for all of mankind. They open up business opportunities on the Internet for people who might never have been able to have their own business. They allow assisted breaking in cars and automatically inflated air bags. They control inventory. They track earthquakes and volcanoes. They provide entertainment.
Negative side:
There are quite a few negative effects of using a computer. One of the prime ill effects of using a computer is the radiations emitted from the computer monitor. As we spend more and more time for our working hours on the computer, we are bound to suffer from severe backaches and other pains that are caused due to lack of regular movements. Constant usage of computers also brings about brain damage.
Games and web-sites with obscene content have immense effects on small children which turn them into computer addicts. Anti-Social elements like terrorist use computers for unlawful purposes. Hacking into e-mail accounts and personal computers and accessing and using personal information are also on a rise because of computers. Now days we have become too dependent on machines for each and everything which is also a huge cause of concern.

A computer is a machine that manipulates data according to a set of instructions. The computers in this society are very useful, computer can do work without complaining or getting tired. There are advantages and disadvantages of using computers. The advantage of the computer is the good thing of using the computers are that we can get much information on a subject that we want to know. We can easily do a week's work in one day. We do our homework or other documented things, but also, we can talk or chat to people that are on the other side of the world. The disadvantage is that there are too much information out there that we don't use a lot. And now a days many addicted games were produced and you can get addicted to the computers if you sit and just chat on the computer too much. Lastly,when you get too addicted to the computers you cannot anymore focus on your studies and you can have an eye damage or disease caused by too much computer.
